Right lads and lasses, you may have seen elsewhere on this site that Larry Teepot has thrown down the gauntlet…………

The annual ‘Harrisons’/Simple MF v Talk Angling match is upon us again - however it’s scheduled earlier this year to cause maximum disruption to Larry Teepot's bloodworm team

which was led to victory last year by that well known mercenary, the Chockie Munster.

The match will take place Saturday 7th August 2010 and be back on The Cannock Extension this year.

Being 3 months earlier than in previous years, no doubt ‘lumps’ will play a part in the outcome this time.

I know it’s early posting this but wanted you to have plenty of notice for your diaries.

Just an update.........

Whilst we fished the Wyrley & Essington last year, this years match will be on The Cannock Extension Canal (scene of our first match) -

Postcode is WS3 5AS - draw just over the 'new bridge'

You'll recollect we did the payout at the pub last year. It was suggested to me that we have a barbie after our next/this match.

So i've arranged for a barbie (hopefully the weather will be kind) back at Harrisons S &SC - just down the lane(s), I'll hand out some maps on the day, but for the Sat Navers its WS6 6EU.
