After the huge success of Matches at Barston this year , and EVERYONES positive comments about Barston , I have been in talks with Running some opens at Barston Next year running from April through to September.

My plan of attack based on 60 anglers fishing each round!!
60x anglers x £25 entrance per round = £1500
Peg fees for barston are £7:50 per peg = £450
This will leave £1050 in the pools pot.
£5 per angler will be taken out of the £25 , and on 60 fishing will be £300 going to the final held on saturday 3rd a september 2011. You must win a section of 5 to qualify for the final.....No Defaults either!!
Breakdown of pay outs for each match...
12 sections of 5 anglers will get £25 = £300 in section pay
1st - £225
2nd - £135
3rd - £90
So to get through to the final , you have to win your section of 5 anglers.
If 60 anglers fish evry round , the pay outs will go like this..
£300 per round x 5 rounds = £1500
plus the £1050 pools from the final round = £2550 in pools.
Based on 60 anglers in the final....
Sections of 5 , 12 sections in total £50 per section winner. £600.
1st - £1000
2nd - £650
3rd - £300
These figures are all based on 60 anglers fishing each round .
There will be 4 sets of scales to weigh 3 sections of 5 anglers. The frist two angler in the 3 section of 15 anglers will complete the weigh in. You will pick these up when you have drawn your peg , and it will be written on your peg , that you are either sclaes or board man!
Each match will be a 9am draw and we will fish 11am - 4 pm.

I will ask that , if you are not going to fish any of the matches and your names down , you let me know 48hrs before the event so I can offer it to someone else on the resrve list.Anyone who does not let us know he is cancelling , and does not show , will loose his place to all the other matches. Sorry to be blunt , but I'm not prepared to let Nigel down on Pegs!!
All rules are to be fished to the Rules Of Barston Fishery , anyone to be found breaking those rules , will be asked to leave , and will not fish another one of these opens.
