Soar Valley Winter League.

I have been in touch with a few people this week and the opinion is that they all would like to fish on the river again. Last year was one of the best I can remember as regards the fishing and if it ain't broke don't fix it.
The Wigston lads and myself will offer to help run it but we need a meeting soon to sort it all out.
If anybody is interested please get in touch via this thread.
So far confirmed teams are Wigston, Quorn, Fox Match Trentmen. I have spoke to Bucko and he says that Long Eaton Fed are interested and a team that fishes the Derwent also.
Tony Marshall is going to contact Bennetts and Loughborough.
Joff are you lads coming on the River as you are more than welcome.
A meeting date will be announced shortly and representatives from the water being put forward will also be invited to discuss dates.
Many thanks Richard Reynolds.

1 waterside
21860
3 brinks
4 brinks
5 greens
6 deeps
7 deeps
8 osiers
9 1 to 60 sutton [we can pick from]
10 kegworth
protors was used but was taken out[should never of been used as non of the money went to the league clubs
abbey went in one and never again
I'd get three sections on the brinks if you can making the middle section a lot fairer as last year the bottom three pegs were always crap and the top three in the other section were crap  as well Image
