A bit of a hic today with Stanton Gate and Sandy Bottoms pegged-both sides of the bridge-as there were very few locals there nobody really new what was what >:( JJ did sort it but a map would have been useful!

Dave "chubby" Brown topped the 82 pegger with 23-4-8 of chub from the bush peg on the hot waters.

The bream were cruising all along the hot waters but only fed where the cover was greatest near the bridge.

Sandiacre-in the town was the most consistent with 6s and 7s about. The area where Swinno had 30lb for the article also failed to cough up.

Stanton Gate and Sandy Bottoms were hard and the tall grasses failed to cough up many bream.Jenko won this section by the lock.

Overall the canal was clear but a bit more colour in than Dockholme and certainly was not as weedy.

Trent lock next Saturday for the Vic match :D
