Joff aint you relised yet about TK?. He could fish a match in a gold fish bowl that is crammed that full of fish you couldn't fit a pellet in but the TK

would poke its head and everyone would struggle

Can't quite get my head around it Joffie - you can go up there and sack up............or it can be less productive, even in 'similar' conditions.

I stopped and watched Yamo, who didnt weigh in, after the match. He was having one a chuck, literally, honest. A bite every 10 seconds or so, once the bait had fluttered into the killing zone.

We have had some decent matches up there over the last couple of years, I mean dont forget we are just average clubmen putting winning 5 or 6lb weights on the scales, but Sat in all fairness was somewhat different with that sudden sharp snap.

There were also some decent weights up there - think 12lb roach won it in that section - on Lee's winter league match a couple of years ago

Have to view things in perspective at this time of the year Mugger.........we recognise before the off that first job is to avoid the dreaded drynet - after that it's a bonus.

OK there aint the head of fish in there of your 'typical' commercial, but they don't all 'fish' at this time of the year either.......just have to look at Simps latest match results from Rolfs.........there's a few weights quoted there that wouldn't feel lost amongst a

result

Plus the saving grace it's only 10 mins or less away for most of the guys

Must also add that the banter I had with Tweety and Sibeck

when weighing in was worth a couple of lb of fish

Joff banter is more to do with who you fish with and not the type of water you fish. I have fished with TK on comercials, on the kidney pool ect and the banter as be been first class, on the other hand ive fished commercials, resors and had weekends away with Peter and the banter and p1ss taking as also been first class, even when i fished a commercial with woodhouse we had the banter.

Out of all of the people and clubs on this site ive fished with ive always had a right laugh and enjoyed the the whole day .
