Well I caught my first fish on my new pole today which was a small mirror about 1.5 lbs. I weighed in 15lbs to finish approx 8th. It was very hard going with fish still spawning and I wa sglad when Tinky blew the final whistle (well more like shouted all out). I had a big fish take me into the reeds which put my pole to the test by tugging like hell, the pole didn't break Ha Ha but I did lose the fish :(

I just hope next week bears a little more fruit coz I'm fed up of struggling for bites now :(

I'll test my pole out on a shark if needs be, well at least for the 1st 12 months while it's still under warranty Image

I'm looking forward to the Willows, By then the slimy critters should have stopped bloody spawning. Fill all these Carp puddles with F 1's I say :)

1 point for a win up 10th then 10 points for anything after 10th. I.E 2 for second, 3 for 3rd, 4 for 4th ETC
11 points for a dry net.
12 points for a no show.

The numbers in the top column show the venue if you hold you mouse over the numbers, like it says under the chart Image :P

What peg did you fish Si?

Where did the winning weights come from and how did the dreaded 'cock' peg(s) fish ?

Sounds like you and Conna are experiencing the type of season I've had so far........... :'(............looks like I've gotta return to my roots of the cuts and rivers as I just can't catch carp :-/

I was on peg 29, the winner came from 3 pegs aways from me and second place was 2 pegs away from 1st.
Flyer peg 22 was drawn by Kevin Buxton who did no good of it, well I say "No good" he still did better than me :D
My 2007 fishing experience is rather numb at the moment lol. I have already accumulated half the amounts of points I had for the whole of last year Image Image

Not half - but it knocks your neck in when you are so full of anticipation for a match and it turns into the usual anti climax

I echoe your sentiments re points as well - I've dropped more points so far this season than I usually do over the whole Curse season  :'( :'( :'( a disaster so far - gotta pull my finger out  Image
