they were mostly about 8 to the pound so a decent stamp.
£150 for winning.
I pay top 5 individual
top two in each 10/9 peg section (£30 and £20)
and top three teams on the day.

some decent weights there but no mention of ratbag's weight did he blank again? i fished many a time with jimmy hines and ricky teale the saints duo they are good anglers but they nearly always finished behind Hoddy. Tealey had a crush on barbara to just like ha ha but we are talking the lure of a real angler here, she was flattered but chose me. I was asked to be a part of saints team but work commitments got in the way looking forward to getting my team together for this knock up match against yale and co.

Jim was next to me on Sunday.
He is a hero of mine, brilliant angler and a damn nice bloke.

ratbag is lee woodhouse then . well done decent weight, did you not fish for the skimmers then ?On that stretch you have to target carp and skimmers on liquidised corn and joker. You may also get decent roach, fish waggler right across and lie on the deck, me and barbara have done 40lbs weights there regularly.
Ricky teale is a top bloke ask him about when he hooked a bicycle on the oxford canal. Also jimmy is a reasonable guy who always gets the best out of his peg, ask him when we drew next to each other down evesham in a practice match, he did 11lb of roach on hemp and i pipped him with 11lb2oz of chub and bleak on the waggler. Another thing these guys always buy sandwiches, i cannot fault them. Is simon nickless a new guy on the scene i do not remember his name?paul hughes ia good lad too, we used to drink too much night before a match and the night after

All this talk made me think back to an angling festival at mallory park when some guy i dindt know at the time trod on my pole he is now a real close friend of mine and i have taught him everything he knows, we have fished the river wye and docklow pools and we have fished glebe isaac walton lakeside boldings and now he is known as one of the best anglers around purely because of his crazy hair and catching qualities. I love you to bits giles.i have sent you an email i hope you are reading this. call me

giles me old mucker we might pop down one weekend and see you do you want barbara to make you some of her sandwiches?let us know a weekend when you are free or maybe we can all fish a match at docklow?
HanKat AS winter league 5th round
Did Giles pinch the hook in the loop technique off you and Barb Hoddy?
HanKat AS winter league 5th round
you know my mate giles then ? many of his match tactics originated with me and barbara we were soul mates and even now when either of our name appears on a angling match people quiver with fear. ask mr v and ha ha about fear i can smell it
