Would you like to see a Shout Box on these forums

To be fair I will put this up for a poll.
I have seen a shoutbox for these forums and its looks ok.

This poll is just to get an idea on interest or lack of it as some members requested one

I have voted no.
It could stop people posting or attract new people that want to use that feature and dont like posting.

I like the site as it. If we want a chat we have pm and chat room, so why add some thing else.

The other reason i don't like chat room, shouts ect is for example .........
If 2 people are talking about advice on venue, or tatics ie how to fish punch, pellet ect and you aren't on line when the advice is being given then youve missed it, were as if i post in a thread what is the best way to fish paste, you get various opions and it is there for other people to read and get advise off.

The one really good thing about this site is the mixture of people who are on it. Theres some decent canal anglers, some who do the rivers and the commie boys so there's a vast range of advice and veiws of people who know their stuff.

even talk angling have moved their shout box from the top right down to the bottom of the page now.

Its a box where you can type messages. You can reply in real time. Like instant messenger.
