when you say the conector is dacron. Do you mean its done into a crows foot instead of a traditional connector that ties on to the laccy and as a sleeve that pulls back to allow you to attatch your rig ?

yes as such m8 but its a doubled up piece of dacron with a knot on the end, i think it something really simple but just cant see it......

think its the same concept as the crows foot me, you attach the rig in the same way

if you pm or wait for mugger (peter) to come on he as a brilliant picture he put on MD's of exactly how to tie the rig and the crows foot.
I know how to do it put can't explain it in words. Its dead easy to do and use

Honest muggers pic is brilliant. Even an idiot like me understands it. Just wait a bit longer.
Personally i dont trust/ like the crows foot method as i fear the rig will eat into the laccy if you get a good fish on, but i know loads of people who use it and swear by it and have landed big fish with no probs at all.

Its very simple Sibeck but difficult to explain. You first need to tie a large double overhand loop at the end of your rig and then tie another one using the first loop so you end up with 2 loops. Cut through the one at the end, and then attach as in Peters diagram. It doesnt matter if you are using a crows foot or a dacron connector, the principle is the same.

i been trawling the internet all morning, and why is it people complicate things so much for things that a simple diagram and the whole subject is explained

that was the pic i was on about that peter put up. Like i said in my earlier post its to complicated for me to explain when a simple pic like peters done explains everthing.
