its just a idea and it might be a daft question but if sea levels are rising because of global warming and every autumn the global experts tell us that the ice is melting faster than ever WHY can't theses global experts fined a way of turning sea water into salt a lot quicker we used to do it at school many years ago
all you here on the news is every county is running out of salt for the roads we have had a 20 day winter at the most either in the past they have wasted tonnes of the stuff and made cut backs i know its cold but is this going to happen every year or is it a one off this the sort of questions I'd like answered
another question why can't we all clear the pavements outside so at least it would help people get about
in the local paper it said the hospitals in Leicester are in melt down with the amount of breakages due to the ice
COME ON WHATS THAT COST US our insurance and health and safety won't allow us to salt the front of the shop just in case someone slips over its like a ice ring today  Image Image the country has gone  politely mad

Its a different type of salt.you can make sodium chloride quite easily but where would you store it Joff?



its easier to get it out of the ground.

when did he go down lee ??? before xmas
been down to moors mill lane this morning and i could stand on it, went to leebrook road as well, managed to make a little hole with a axe and i would say its 5" plus

by the way the law that stops you gritting your path in front of the shops is called duty of care but if you own the path or carpark you are better to clear the snow or close the carpark or path :-/ :-/ :-/if that helps
