personaly i hope it did. He as lved happy in there. Its like that rumour of the cat in your stretch. If he got caught i would hope he would be returned. Wether they are native or not at the end of the day they are all fish and deserve to live not be killed just because of their species.

yes mate it went back 
from my peg it gave rob a great fight we also have catfish and terrapins in the canal
remember a few years back fishing a national on the grand union canal in fact i was in the same section as the winnerwrong end thou
when i got to my peg we thought a few carp shadows on the far bank
but they turned out to be terrapins for 4 or 5 pegs we caught nothing i think its a big problem down there now
