i poped down the cut yesterday for a couple of hours to sort some rigs etc out and my float never stopped going under in the whole time i was their.......... shame i had to get home for the school run.. >:(

That bit as always held some good catches from when the power station was there. Ive seen some cracking tench come out of there aswell. Were did you park ? on the grass? They usually park on the grass up against that section or on the junction they park on the grass right up against the bridge. (i did see someone once park down the slope of the bridge down on the tow path. Fcuk knows how he got it back up. )

parked on the george stephenson car park, and walsked a few yards down m8.... ive fished round their most my life but give it a miss in the summer because of the kids, but yeah it holds a big head of tench round their.... i only had 2 hours and seems like the roach want the feed now a couple of degrees has gone into the water finaly......

Thats whats spoilt all of the pools (reedswood, baileys, sneyd res ect) around blocco. Most of the stretches around blakenhall, b-dale, dudley feilds ect have some cracking heads of fish but you get to much hassle if you fish them
