It never rains but it pours
My Dad always seems to get the rough end of the stick.
He is 84 and not in the best of health now and suffers from Heart desease, Lung problems, bad Artritis in the neck and legs and cant walk more than 20 yards at a time. He has survived working most of his life in the Docks as well as killer deseases Sarcoidosis, Cancer of the Colon and a ruptured Aortic Anuerism.
He has been on one of his regular stays in the hospital for the last week. On Wednesday we heard his brother in law had another heart attack while visiting my Dads twin brother in Basingstoke and then his sister passed away after contracting pneumonia after a triple heart bypass operation.
Why does all the sh!t always happen to him at the same time.

Well things dont get any better.
Dad is still in hospital though he may be out in the next couple of days. He didnt react well to the news of his sister and now we have to tell him that my uncle passed away yesterday. Its sure to start him off thinking "Im next" so maybe its wise we tell him while he is still in the hospital.
Apparently is wasnt a heart attack but a massive stroke that left him blind and almost paralysed so maybe its for the best.
Thanks for your thoughts guys.

Thanks Kev but everything is under control so far. My aunts funeral is on Monday in Cornwall so Im staying bed and breakfast overnight Sunday in Devon to see my cousin, then popping into South Reed Farm to pay the holiday balance on my way down to Bodmin.
Then we are staying in my other cousins holiday cottages on Monday night before coming back Tuesday.
