Re Tutbury - is that DRAC waters now?
I might be wrong but one bank was Derby Rly and the other Burton Moos.
Boris used to fish the opens; they also ran a series of midweek matches on the Dove; they were well attended too Image Image Image Image

I think a guy named Keith Bradford used to run a few there.

McPhersons Paint sponsored the UK champs back in the early days
and Legrand Sponsored the World champs when it was last in the UK
CWH I remember fishing a Captain Morgan cup round for Pewsey V Gloucester United on the Gloucester canal when I was about 16, I didn't have much a( a few little eels and roach)and the round was only won individually with 2lb 9oz I do remember fishing the lead with a 10ft shakespeare wonder quiver rod, does anyone else remember them? They were out before the sigma wand. and had a metal clip reel fitting whipped onto the fibreglass handle.

Sorry for the delay TK !
Yes you are right mate Image Burton Mutual and Derby Railway still share the water. Keith Bradford ran the Sat matches and the Wed matches were run By Tony Scott and then Derek Spilsbury. You are right mate Boris used to go with the Nottingham crowd. Pat McVoy won 3 consecutive Wed matches with 80lb of chub, 40lb of dace and 50lb of bream !!!!
