There is always light there pally.
Got made redundant twice, first time put all my redundancy and severance into a business; lost the lot and only broke even with solicitors fees; it were a nasty do. Ended up totally stoney.
Second time did the same again and bingo, sold the business, (still got the dosh) and worked p/t since 1987 for AM; I were dead lucky how it turned out.

Well done Dodge for keeping your job. I was in the same boat as you about a month ago some very good mates of mine lost their jobs.
Next time we get in the same situation we have been told the place will be closed.
