Had a bit of a rummage and found the result of the 2004 MA final Drynet.

It was fished over 2 x 3 hour matches - one in the morning, 1 in the afternoon - obviously having to change pegs and usually pools.

I finished in jnt 6 place in 2004 - a 2nd in section on match 1, bombing out a bit on match 2 with 5th in section - the pressure must have got to me  :D

Looking through the results I noticed that another Cashmores man at the time - 'Dickie Bird ' -he was our top 'carper' at the time also fished as the 'Walsall Electric' champion - he finished with a 6th and a 3rd for jnt 8th place

I'll have to try and find the 2003 results from that face shot above.

Also got me thinking must have fished the final in 2005, cuss Yamo fished it too...........and it was dire - in the second afternoon match - think I was on front Deans I must have had 100lb of dead fish in my peg............the airators were on and it was like fishing the Severn with the tow  Image

Couldn't find the results of the 2003 & 2005 MA Clubman of the year finals.........I'll have another rummage tonight

Perhaps Yamo's got a copy of the 2005 results stashed away that he could post Image

Sure Stuart Bagnall won the 2005 championship with 2 sections wins and a combined weight off 2 x 3 hr matches of around 22 - 24lb Image - it was that hard - the Image Image Image was certainly knocking about that day

okey dokey, this match was 1st time id fished woodlands view and disappointingly i drew same pool within 3 pegs of each other on both matches. It was a strictly non pellet match and i picked up about 3rd in my section on first match then in the second match the guy next to me who's name escapes me, but he came second overall to bagnall, caught all carp on nothing other than pellet. Left a bad taste in the mouth, zorro witnessed it too as he was my bank walker for the day,

TK WOULD like to go to club angler of year this year please if cashmores' would enter me, i feel i can mix it with the big boys now.
