just been down for a gander by the town bridge in rugeley ,stayed about 20 mins and didnt see any dead fish ,river carrying a couple extra feet of water , strange thing though there is a big shoal of roach that hang about by the bend at the back of the industrial estate and i have stood watching them many times topping and such even when the river is high ,not a single fish topped whilst i was there ??

i didn't see any dead fish on the news reports on TV but i don't surpose they want you to see them i think if they had there would been a public outrage looks to me they are already trying to cover up
it looked like it was carrying abit of extra water we had nothing like that here in leicester the soars got a inch if that a little pace but still gin clear
still a least we have a river to fish :-[ :-[ :-[

have been down again today and still no dead fish to be seen,it is carrying an extra few feet of water and is a nice colour after the rain we had tues night maybe this has helped,
still nothing showing and and this is rare exept in the worst of conditions its usually stuffed with roach just unfishable due to power lines (clever buggers these fish, hole up just were u cant fish for them)
also E.A or whoever it does it only did a restocking last year up at wolsey bridge so there is chance that they have gone aswell(barbel, chub and dace) Image
