stotz or shots
another topical subject i love stotz for the bigger diameter lines the ones for carp [not that i do much carp fishing ] but for my canal rigs i still like shot i have been trying to mix the two as stotz do sit nice as a bulk and do move a little easier than shot not so sure about the no13s i'd rather use shot in that case what do you lot use

stotz or shots
I use Stotz, mainly because they are so easy to get on and can be moved easily without damaging the line. They also stay on and dont ping off in use.
Having said all this i do think that shot gives superior presentation in smaller size's,but i dont have the right kind of fingers to get anything smaller than a number 10 on.
Stotz do sit very neatly when bulked, but do have a tendency to catch the tow more than shot does IMO.

Same here. I can also get them off easier than I can other shot types.

Its stotz for me too, especially as nearly all my fishing these days is on commercials. They sit much better on the heavier lines I tend to use and dont ping off. Plus they are much easier to get on what with my arthritic hands and lack of front teeth
However I do use a very very old pair of style pincers to put them on, far better than the stotta.
