One member was so far away I couldnt see him... another was the other side of Pelsall Bridge so didnt see much of him either except for coming and going...
another was a well known local figure who I could see and seemed to be catching at least small stuff, but I didnt ask exactly what he'd been having.
We were well spread out, arriving by coincidence.
I had half a dozen decent roach I think they call 'stampers' including one that goes into my boster category at nearly 12oz, a couple of 5-6oz skimmers and a couple of nice perch all on caster, using up the remains of half a pint from a previous session. You could say I had to be economical with my feeding. Two small roach on pinkie made up the total.
I fished opposite side from the boats by the new Pelsall road bridge, a peg I don't rate much but wanted to see if I could catch at least something off it after a dry net in one of last years right ol' gruellers.
Heard everyone was catching but didnt press anyone for their catch info. Dont know why I didnt, probably because I was just enjoying an uncommonly, unseasonably mild day ou the cut. Luverley
