Last week at Barford Steve Pierpoint asked me to take his place at Evesham for the team match, as he could not take anymore !
I thought well why not give it a go, forgetting that the reason I like Barford in winter as that you will always have chance of fish !
After five hours of fishing groundbait feeder on a river carrying 2 foot and blanking ! I was pleased to hear that after 2 hours of fishing at Barford in the end of the month match Steve had two barbel weighed and released for the welfare of the fish.
Oh the size of the fish were 12.5lb and 14.5lb !!!
