i'l get nigel to post the result lee i had 3points on the first match 19lb and blow out on the second with 8lb for 5points
3 points won it and there was two anglers on 4 points one being danny ashington who missed out on weight for 3rd

Midland angler of the year 2009 Barston Lakes.
Dave Roberts, an automotive engineer from Hereford, has become this years midland angler of the year.
After winning the event with 3 points. The first 3 hour match was on the pole, and Dave won his section from peg 16, and caught 30.8lb of skimmers and F1s beating Phil Ringer on the next peg by just over a pound. Then after the mid point weigh in, the second match on the feeder saw Dave take 22lb of carp on the method to claim a second in section behind Tim Bull (33.08) on his other side.
Rob Cooksy took second after finishing on 4 points, tying with Danny Ashington also on 4, but taking runner up spot by having a greater weight.

It will fish its lady lumps off in September next year, as it did this year. It just went realy cold for the last 2 weeks.
Busy for me with UK champs this year, so it will all be spread out more next year.
