Get a trolley you clown, you know it makes sense because you keep drawing these end pegs
A few pics..
The Cut.....
Heinzers cracking canal Tench. 4lb 12oz I think it was....
My Fish, Thanks to Yamo for holding them up and waiting for me to find my camera .....
I set up one line at the bottom of the far shelf. Fished corn and 6mm expander over GB, hemp and 4mm pellets.
I was only after the big fish
Kept it simple
Well done TK
ps, please stop moaning about walking to end pegs because its getting old now lol
Curse match 5.......who fancies a long walk?
Cheers Mugger
Only problem after that megga hike (well megga for me) it wasn't an 'end peg'
Would have been if I hadn't had to move me and Millie from under the wires.......
But I ended up next to Simon Nickless who was bagging and already had 30lb plus in the net before I got there......
Here's a pickie of his 70-80lb bag that he had yesterday

The only reason the matches are crap is because you dont have enough room between anglers.
The canal is solid but you need at least every other peg to avoid spooking those bigger fish.

Thats exactly what Si said when he came past me on the way home.
Curse match 5.......who fancies a long walk?
Fished for the Tincas etc but none showed. Had two lines down the track primed and one far over but the wind made it difficult.
Guest to my right plumbed up with a deftness and speed of pole shipping I have rarely seen.
Keen as mustard and he was off ! Big gap to my left, allowing for the bivvied up lad on the far bank.
Three parts through the match glanced to my right. Guest Andy cut a forlorn figure. Hood up, head bowed low, back rounded. He was either a part-time monk in deep prayer, or a broken man. I knew it was the latter. Those Tench can be hurtful.
But not for long ! He’d packed up, life restored, walking the bank and chatting about all the latest tackle developments.
I’d had enough too. Two lines of tinca feed down the track and one over became three down the track and one over, in a desperate attempt to make something happen.
Had to come inside for bits. Roach and rudd, 25 ish of them, for a pound and a half.
It lifted my spirits, put a smile on my face and made everything right with the world. Nothing like a bit of catching.
I struggled with the wind. Had a nightmare trying to see my float, green surface became white surface with each gust, and back again. Neither orange nor black tip could cope with it and I couldn’t keep the dam rig still.
But I enjoyed it. I remember thinking, so what no tincas ?
It’s another outing, and that’s what it's all about
Nice sunshine and actually, ‘a picture’ of a canal this time of year.

first off may, i say what a top fella rich c is he not only borrowed simple a pole pot to enable him to feed,
he also never thought once to complain, when during the match after i`d lifted my top kits and managed
to knock his hat off and poked him up the nose.
i would have loved to post a glowing report but four bites and three fish don`t make good reading.
so instead i will just post some piccies.
my peg
jez
our very own scribe
where`s tk?
here he is but who`s he getting secret info off
this looks suspiously like si nickless
it`s all coming together now tk you have been rumbled
on a very diferent note it`s only because tk looked up that a potential disaster was averted !!!!!!!!!!!!
