Hugely respected angler in the North West was John
I was lucky to draw next to him a couple of times in the old A/T Mid Cheshire lge when i was with Team Trafford. Trevs Wilmslow were one of the strongest teams in the north west and were capable of beating anyone, John was a big part of that team along with Steve Clegg, Mark Webb, Ken Oldham and Tony Derbyshire to mention a few...... when Trevs folded it was possibly the begining of the end of proper team fishing in the north west. John was very fast on fish and a master of rudyard lake, the river weaver and all the canals in the north west, an old school real good bloke and top angler.
Good stuff TK
