Wharfe Knock up
Wharfe Knock up
There's a knock up on the Wharfe this Sun, not sure how many will turn up but I'm really looking forward to it. I'm sure it will be hard due to the clarity but it doesn't seem to matter so much about that in the Wharfe as i've had 14lbs before on a gin clear water in Feb.

I will be there I think mate. Do you park on the same bridge or somewhere else Cheers.
Wharfe Knock up
No, you park on Bridegman St bridge. Where you parked before, go straight on to junction then turn left then straight to next junction turn left again and park on bridge or factory units.

Well Conna, ain't you gonna put the results up for us
Wharfe Knock up
And the winner is .
Well I drew peg 15 which doesn't normally produce a lot and Crocky was on peg 14, 14 and 15 incidentally are just before the brick thingy to stop the motorcycles passing through. I started on the Punch at 4m and started to catch small Roach from the off but they weren't coming very quickly. I also fed Caster at 13m in front of me and 13m to my left, after 30 mins Crocky told me that he had missed 3 bites on the Caster so that was all I needed to go out on my caster line. 1st put in I had a Roach approx 8oz which a Pike approx 10lbs decided it wanted a piece of, after a minute of battling with that mother f****r it let go of it and I managed to get the roach out and in the net. 4 more consecutive put ins saw 4 more roach then it went dead. Serves me right for going on the Caster too early I thought. Anyway I persevered for a while then came back on the punch line to take a few more small samples. then Crocky had a Tench 2.5lbs, so out I go on the Caster again to net another 2 Roach only to die on me again so back on the punch line. Crocky had another Tench so I thought right Caster now till the end, I finished up with 3 Bream and several more Roach for a 6lbs 5oz net to Crockys 5lbs 6 oz net to win the match. I also lost a big Tench on the whistle. Crockys face was a picture lol, he thought he'd beat me, maybe next time eh. It was a ver enjoyable match for me and most people caught 1lbs plus. Roll on the next one in 2 weeks time.
