Cashmores 'Team' Event 2009

Here's the 'teams' for the 2009 matches, knocked up with the assistance from my granddaughter who 'drew' the teams for the new members that have joined us this season

Just for the new members information, the team event is based on total weigh caught over the 15 matches.

Although a '5 a side' event, only the top 4 weights for any team are recorded each match...........eg

Lets pretend that in match 1 Yamos team weigh in as follows

YAMO  20 - 0 - 0
BIG GEOFF 20 - 0 0
PHIL B 20 - 0 - 0
TIGERBAY 20 - 0 - 0
M KENDALL 15 - 0 -0

In this fictitious example , M Kendalls weigh would be disgarded being the lowest team weight and Team A would weigh in 80 - 0 - 0 for the match

what happens if some body is away or can't make the match

It's 'tough luck' on the team Budgie - if only 3 members of a team fish because the other two dont fancy it or are on hol, only the 3 members weights count - there's no 'compensation'

Last year HaHa's team D 'romped' away with the title despite being a man down with Phylis who never put in an appearance........here's who did what

When I first ‘knocked up’ the teams for this season, it all seemed to look pretty fair and square……..no real  ‘stand out’ team, other than possibly Zorro’s team D, particularly with the introduction of that bagging machine Sprucey


However interestingly if you look at last years ‘form’, and using last years individual weights as a guide, Team B look like having a real chance this year……………….
