Of the last 8, with TK, Hotlips and Sprucey all missing the latest match at Jubillee Pool, only 5 gladiators contested the 4 semi final places.

Going through to the semis to be fished at Thorpe Manor on 22nd August are

Following the Thorpe Manor result, the 2009 knockout final will now be contested between MarkV and Yamo.

To be fished either on the Staffs Worcs canal at Teddesley Road Penkridge - match 14, or the Trent (still TBC) match 15 - as 'agreed' between the respective two members
