When 'punching' on one of the canals I fish it throws up lots of oz roach.
No 2 latex seems spot on, better than a soft no 4.
However 'rouge' stamp fish - skimmers to lb mark - can put in an appearance, leading do a bit of a merry dance on the no 2.
Even worse a tinca may show too..........

I'm just about to lackie another 3 tops I've just aquired and started pondering about a 'doubled up' no 2 lackie.
Everything I read about doubled elastics appears associated with the commercials - doubled no 4s, 6s and 8s etc for F1s, stamp roach etc through to larger stamp carp.
Are any of you guys using, or have used, say a doubled up no2 for your cut work?
Have you tried it and found any positive benefits?
Or tried it and knocked it the head?
Any thoughts, experiences or views welcomed before I get my diamond eye threader out........
