Cashmores Revenge ! Tigerbay lured into Grueller 2
Cashmores Revenge ! Tigerbay lured into Grueller 2
Well I took a right pastin' today. I wasn't even goin' till TK rang me friday about the change of venue and got me thinking. Was it pre-planned ? Psychological warfare from the Cashmores ? Been well and truly Gruellered. !!! You must be made of stern stuff you Cashmores.
I couldnt put a foot right. Left me liquidised bread in the fridge. Plan No1 out the window.
Broke me no1 section before the whistle. Fished like a muppet and took a tokin' off a very nice gentleman to my left who won it. Only being nice cos I want to ask him how he did it Hung a match top kit on a bush out of my holdall on the way back to the car and I was, way way down the field all round and it didnt finish there.
Got home and decided to repair TWO top sections. Simple job, fit some bushes and re-elasticate. Seems like I was in the garage for hours.
Droppin stuff, losing stuff, all fingers and thumbs...how small are the collars off micro stonfos !
It's ramed with junk and tackle in there, everytime I turned round I was knockin stuff over, dropping stuff, losin stuff, elastic wasnt right etc etc. Its was like a bloomin Norman Wisdom film in there.
Decided i'm stoppin in. I aint riskin' goin' out Looking forward to the next time

so at least some one managed to work out were, what day and what time this match was on. You must be good at working clues out or have inside info. What is it whispers behind the bike sheds
Si you have to do a treasure hunt first to find all the clues so you can work out were, and when the match is as this one was still getting changed 10 hours before the all in

Cashmores Revenge ! Tigerbay lured into Grueller 2
|Theres still no sign that anyone else worked the clues out and made it to the venue so looks like tigerbay and the un named gentleman to his left were the only ones who made or did they make it to the wrong venue and the real grueller is still going on

Cashmores Revenge ! Tigerbay lured into Grueller 2
As a result of confusion caused by the BDM acting on good advice from Cotti which led to ME missing Grueller 2, Brambles stuck with the kids, Mr V being in Scotland, Big Geoff overseas, Gez on his jollies and also being informed of a boycott by others, attendance for match 2 was reduced.
However on a positive note a couple of new faces put in an appearance for their first taste of the Gruellers – welcome aboard Tigerbay and Gerry.
The first 3 successive nights of frost had bit and a misty morning greeted the stalwarts of the series.
With an absence of the supposed dreaded bw&j in any competitors carryalls, most expected bites to be at a premium given conditions.
However a glorious morning unfolded and unlike many gruellers before, the four hours fled for many.
Apart from Cotti latching into and subsequently losing it, the tincas didn’t put in an appearance for others. However on a positive note some of the pegs were alive with micro roach.
Cotti found some of his normal caster roach to ease ahead. BDM made a mistake of trying to ‘avoid’ the blade roach for lengthy periods in the match in search of a better stamp of fish……….........the decision proved costly as he was ultimately drammed out of 2nd place by new face Gerry.
1. Cotti 3 – 5- 0
2. Gerry 2 – 0 – 6
3. BDM 1 – 15 – 6
4. KOD 1 – 8 – 8
I’ll knock the league table up when I get 5 mins
