Enough to drive you to drink si
now theres a good idea Peter
All them gudgeon yesterday got you back in the fishing spirit then Si
Yes i was hoping it would of been nice as ive got a week off and fancied a few days on the bank getting beat off the next peg by charlie . There was a good few gudgeon in my net yesterday si but at least i never targeted them and stayed on 16 hook and pellet unlike the peg next to me who dropped to size 24 hook and single maggot and doubled my weight plus i had a pair of sh@gging frogs which i put in TKs peg for him to watch them at it. I thought i was in France the amount of frogs i had in my peg . I enjoyed the days fishing and am looking forward to the next one as its my favourite venue and pool around here and will be a totaly different ball game and ive never seen a gudgeon come out (not even ive caught 1) but the roach are crackers

tk i fished hollys at pipe hill. It fished hard with me ending up with a mixture of skimmers and roach. The carp didnt want to play.
I hard a look over at alders and it looks so different to the summer as none of the lilly patches are up yet, and the trees havent come into leave or reeds grown up yet . Every one on alders were having a night mare as nothing wanted to play. There were 2 of the flyer pegs being fished and they were the only ones to be getting bites or fish. Its obvious were the weights will come off on saturday.
Andy the owner said that he had got his forms back giving him permission to net holly and willow but was having to wait for the EA to get back to him as he wanted to change the dates at the netting of the 2 pools was the same day as your match meaning he'd have all 3 lakes out of action. He said your match was definately on and thats why he needed the dates changed so day ticketers could still use holly and willow.
