I fished the last official practice on the K&A at Bathampton yesterday and then spoke to the organiser today, he's gone back and totted up all the weights and come up with a few stats. There were 15 double figure weights. 24lb winning it and 2x 21lb weights all from different areas.I had 7.1.0 which was only good enough for 4th in my section!!
Of the 91 anglers who fished 4 didn't bother weighing in but they did catch, but even counting them as blanks the average weight was still 6.11.0!!!!
There is a match a mile off the match length this Sunday and the local guys reckon it's gonna be better!
