Just to add the firefox browser is a real pain the last week or so,it either does not open up to use or just shuts down on its own for no reason..

Un install it and re-install it. Also I noticed some "Addon ons" caused me problems.

I used it years a go but then when IE7 come out with the tabs I never used it again until IE7 started getting crap.

I have found that over the last month that Firefox has been responsible for allowing some viruses through. AVG had them sorted out quickly enough but they were all connected to firefox files. This came after updating firefox. Although i am not keen on IE7 i have now uninstalled Firefox due to the issues.

What you must remember is to scan anything you have downloaded from the internet, even from reputable sites. It only takes a few seconds and can save you days of pain and grief.

Hello keith
Regarding your post i have also been doing the same as yourself and found that it all happened as from last update too.
