Great report TK. It looks like my walk with the camera cost me a point off Budgie :D

I drew peg 5, which I have fished before but it was in the same section as the main flyer pegs....1,2 and 3. So it was going to be tough.
I had instructions off Mr V Image But they did not work on the day, Thanks anyway Paul.
I wanted to catch skimmers from the track but with only having 2 knocks down the track it was not meant to be.

I started off catching on caster on the far bank line right away. Zorro and Si to my right and left both cupped in feed on the off, I did not. I fired 3 casters over with my catty.
After 15 minutes my bites dried up so I switched to single red maggot on the hook which I caught on right away and carried on feeding casters with my catty. With 30 mins to go I dumped half a pot of caster across and managed 2 more chubletts Image

I had also been trying to catch the resident carp from the inside but that was a no go as well Image

Good match again, well run Image
Looking forward to the Inlet/Outlet again. Hopefully I will do better than last time I fished it Image Image

The place seems to be an enigma Simps Image Image Image

I've had some decent results off some of the pegs, only for them to bite back and have a mare off them on return visits to the same pegs

One thing of note, commented also by others was the level was down a touch. Not sure on the impact on the fishing, but that may have led to Spruceys net going in the 'opposite direction' to that expected :D

I didnt notice the water level was low.
When I saw peg 2 and the new platform I must admit I wanted to draw it.
Drawing is deffo important at the kidney pond :D Image
