Gunfight at the Canning Town coral.

Had to take my car in for its annual service and MOT today. So around 10am I drove through the Blackwall tunnel to Canning Town to my regular garage. Got down the side street by the arches where several car repairers and scrap metal companies have their depots.

50 yards from my garage was a police car blocking the road and a copper holding up his hand for me to stop. I opened the window to speak to him and he said “ Wont be a couple of minutes sir they are just shooting each other round the corner.” Next thing I hear very loud “BANG BANG BANG BANG “ --- Gunshots.

Bloody hell he isn’t kidding.

Don’t worry Sir he said they are only filming and we cant let the public near in case they think they are really being shot at.
Shame really I thought it might be Mugger trying to get the Mars bar that Woodhouse owes him. :(

Still the car passed the MOT easily ( well what do you expect from a Toyota 8-)

Romford is only about 8 miles away too.
