I won with 156lb.....

I WISH :D :D

It was terrible and worse for others. The wind made it hard for most of the people today.
I didn't have much wind just the odd gust.
It fished very hard indeed. I weighed 18lb 11oz from peg 24 and our Team finished 4th overall.
Matt Nutt managed to win for the second year in a row from peg 48. He was pleasure fishing on his own :D :D
Well done Matt Image
I had a roach and 2 carp in the first 3 minutes and then they backed off... I think they got out and went and sun bathed on the island, I still don't know where they went.
I had the scratch round for fish all over the place.

I am not going next year thats for sure, Thats the 3rd time I have seen it fish crap. I don't think the pool copes well with that amount on it.

Matt had 68lb by the way Image Image

Why do you think we all decided not to go this year Simple. 5 hours driving for a 5 hour match for not a lot isnt my idea of fun, especially with the price of petrol these days.

Also strange that being a team event with 4 sections that it was done on weight.....

Matt almost won it for his team on his own...

I know Steve W and Slim were gutted.

Any ideas the date of next years match so I can make sure I book a Marsh Club match on the same day so we dont have to go. ;) ::) Image

Got to agree with you and Malc that setion points is better. At least if you are drawn in a bad area you can still get a good result and contribute to your team, rather than leaving all it down to a good angler on a flier.

At least the lake seemed to fish more consistantly than it did last year. its still too peggy though. >:(

If people are unhappy with how it was organised or run then why not point out there disaprovements to the orangisor so he can look in to it and may be make change in any future matches. Neither Si or malc have posted their feeling to how the points were worked out on the results report on the relevent site the match was run from and as for slim shadey being gutted, hes posted on the organisers report congratulating the organiser on how well organised and run the match was and how much he enjoyed it Image , so did he enjoy it or aint he got the man balls to point out his feeling about how the point system was worked out ? Because of manors and courtesy.
He work hard to make the day run smoothly, which it did.
Why mess it up by complaining in the report thread about it.
When he posts asking if anyone is interested in doing it again I will then make my comments...
No point spoiling the mood of the results thread with bickering is there.

That's my view on it
