Where do you like to fish ?

Just wondering where you guys prefere fishing.
I like pools, its nice and easy, well most of the time

Same, but don't mind fishing anywhere but the sea.
Last time I went sea fishing I caught a whiting and was sick for the rest of the trip

i prefer river fishing,because it is more natural and more of a challenge. I spent my first year or two fishing up on the trent around derby.

Cuts just edge out rivers because of the likes of the Severn (not my fave)
But also drool over 'exclusive' country estate lakes, steeped in a bit of history...........matured........often scenic .........and with real wild fish not 'stockie carp'

back in the day it was barrow upon trent, swarkestone,willington and in recent years ive fished a lot in free water in burton and near baileys meadow, as well as the trent in armitage on BAA card.

also spent time fishing derwent at borrowash in shallows or in deeps in earl of harrington water
It was fantastic fishing in deeps,big stripeys and chub a chuck. Brings back the memories.
