????????????

try reading  what happend and you'll see why he's p1ssed off

It was until a bunch of brain dead arseholes turned up....

Our match was from 10-3.
1.30pm the clowns for the next match turned up with radio's blaring and tooting their horns. The car park is about 10 meters from the pool.

They then proceed to bring their tackle behind me and have conversations behind our members.
2pm they started to walk round and pegs out !!

I was catching shallow until they turned up making a F**king racket  Image

Lodge Farm AC or whoever you are, thanks for wrecking our match you bunch of complete arseholes.  >:( >:(

This happened on ELMBRIDGE before. The greedy farmer needs to tell people to hold back, keep quiet and respect the people that are STILL fishing.
Pure GREED getting 2 matches in one day. When we pay our peg fee's that is for the day not just the duration of the match.

We was all having a laugh and the banter was flowing but if all stopped when the circus rolled into town. wa*kers!!!!

I'm well racked off   :D :D Image[/quote]

LOL thanks Peter  Image

I have had some beers and a shower and calmed down a bit now   :D

It took me 1 and a half hours to get them shallow and feeding correctly for it to be ruined by them lot.
The fish were spawning so I knew it was going to be hard.
I fished 11 meters shallow on the caster, 7 meters on the deck with corn and soft expander and I also fished the maggot feeder to the island.
It was hard to get any rhythm going as the fish were not interest so I just kept swapping around catching the odd fish. I started getting one a chuck shallow in the end and got snapped and completely smashed up by a crazed carp.
The other club turned up and my fished dissapeared and that was the end of my match really.
Didn't get any pictures either  :(
Budgie got some picture though  Image
Great start to the commercial venues I must say  Image

i will send you the pics later simps,

it was all going well until like you said those tossers turned up, even tho i was not catching i was enjoying my day out before i started my new job as i was a little under pressure and what a way to forget about it than go fishing, Image

personally i would not fish the place again too greedy as like Izzak Waltons place, they should allow 1 hour between matches or put some signs up. match in progress do not disturb. Image and also like ME said you have paid your peg fee for all day Image

O and by the way the New job is Great Image

Your experiences Si go some way to reaffirm my belief that as MBS for Cashmores that I’m working with the best interests of the club in mind by ‘avoiding’ bookings on certain mainstream commercials.

As well as
[ch61656] the introduction of commercial restrictions on certain baits,
[ch61656] rule changes that are introduced post booking/payment of peg fees
I find it particularly galling that you’ve generally paid for say 20 or 25 pegs at the normal daily peg fee with no discount, only to learn that your fishing hours are restricted to stipulated match times…….which don’t always coincide with the times that the club normally fishes to. And if you wished to take advantage of additional hours of light that occur during the summer months, you’ve got to pay an additional peg fee. And yep I’ve got written evidence of that on some booking documents that have been issued to me after having made payment in full

Shame………..the venue looked a ‘nice’ place and was on my agenda for a possible booking in 2010 (2009 fixtures are already booked and in place)

They are apparently banned from the fishery now.

Well at least it looks like the owners reacted to the complaint - fair play to him Image

The venue might be back on the agenda for 2010 then ;)

thats if the owner as banned them. Its easy for any one or owner to say im sorry for what happened and ive banned that club when really he asn't. Most owners are only interested in MONEY and this owner seems one of them having 2 matches on a pool in 1 day so do you really think he will want to loose 1 0r 2 hundred pond booking fees just because of a complaint? I hope the owner as banned the club and if i was the owner i would inform all the other fisheries in the area about the club

I fished a match there not long ago with a club... couldnt believe it when blokes turned up behind me standing to attention with their rods waiting for us to shift.

To be honest, I have a view on the place which i'm not sure if i'd be allowed to post , or if would be legal !

I vowed never to go back and it coloured my judgement about commercials to a degree in general, thankfully i've come across some pretty decent ones since.

i can see this situation of 2 or 3 matches a day being held on a pool only getting worse.

It would be easier for me to list the venues that dont have or havent had a problem with fish diseases or fish dying or bad stocks of fish in the midlands. With venues having problems with fish means clubs are looking for venues that dont have a problem and with only a few venues not having problems means more clubs want to book that venue meaning the owner gets greedy and alows more than 1 match a day on a lake.

I know of 1 venue were they ve held 3 matches on 1 lake in 1 day Image
