This was a fantastic achievement by Ian Crossman.

He won the 1st day from peg 49 in the middle of the Portacabin section with 200 small roach on joker for 7-9-5. this is the first time this peg has ever won a match.

On the second he drew peg 161, three pegs to the right of hollowaybank bridge, and with the fancied pegs either side of the bridge in his section it looked to be a peg where 3rd in section would be a good result, however after catching a roach on his first put in on the 5m line he then went on to catch over 300 roach on joker to weigh in 13-2-6 to not only win his section but the match to become the first name on the Fred Latham Memorial Cup.

Day Two results

1st Ian Crossman 13-2-6
2nd Kevin Adderley 13-1-10
3rd Rob Quinn 10-12-0
4th Paul Bick 10-3-7
5th Ian Moulton 10-2-13

Thanks to all 42 anglers who turned up on both days,

Fred would have been overwhelmed.

I echo SS's sentiments - well done Lee for making it happen. Can't lay my hands on a calculator, but the top 30 must have averaged more than 5lb a man per day, which is brilliant cut fishing.
