I only set up 3 rigs. A margin, shallow on on the deck rig at 5 meters as I was tired and it was WINDY again.
On the all in I cupped in 3 pots of pellets and 2 pots of corn on the deck line. Had a bite right away and missed it then nothing for 30 mins. The next bite produced a 8oz skimmer but it was very slow going.
I had been feeding corn in the margins and decided to try them out.....not even a sniff

I could hear Tinky and Jacko to my left having a laugh with everyone else to my right and I was stuck on a peg where I couldn't see anyone

So I fed the deck line and went for a walk for an hour to join in with some of the banter.
The wind had dropped a little so I decided to have a crack at shallow. I started on double caster, feeding caster and after 20 mins without a bite I changed to corn on the hook and feeding pellet.......Fish on right away

I carried on with the corn for another hour and then switched to banded pellet and managed to get some more fish.
I knew everyone was struggling except Mark Douglas to my right who had managed to find some carp fishing long down the margin so knew it would be close.
I dont know why but when someone sits behind me I fish well, Gem was behind me today, Well for a couple of hours after she had woken up from her 2 hour snooze in my car

Well it was raining and we only had one brolly so she couldn't come and sit behind me until the rain had stopped

Weighing in was a grim affair, people's faces told the story. The place fished yellow stream poor and considering we had the better bank I was expecting it to fish a lot better to be fair.

25lb won the other side mate, so I hope your have the same side as us booked mate

Shallow on the banded pellet and corn

I fed heavy.. 3 pouches(pellet) and then 1 min lift and dropping and then another 3 pouches.
Might be different on the day for you but there you go.
