My day started off bad after been woken up at 4.30am my my neighbours yapping in the back garden
I couldn't get back to sleep until 6am and then I had to wake up at 6.30am to go and meet Budgie.
It only took 20 minutes to get there so we were the first there, was a lovely looking place....
After everyone arrived the draw got under way and I drew peg 21 which turned out to be a corner peg just off the island. Gary Conway and Kevin Buxton drew the island and could reach it easily.
As soon as I got to my peg the wind picked up and it went black over bills moms >:(
I set up a shallow rig, on the deck at 7m rig and margin rigs.
After I set up we gathered round Tinks peg for the customary pee taking
On the all-in I started on the deck and had a small carp right away and started firing some pellets out on the shallow line and there were fish there too so I jumped on the shallow line and hooked into a bigger carp.
But the wind had got more powerful and it was hard going. I wanted to fish double caster but had left them in the fridge at home so I was on pellet and corn. Then it started to rain and the wind picked up even more >:(
I came on the margin and was having tiny tiny carp but the wind was making the margin hard going too ::) It rained on and off for the rest of the match, typical.
I stuck at the shallow line and managed to weigh in 22lb something. Not that great really and I got nowhere with that.
I aint go the results yet but will post them later on, I don't even know what won because it was raining during the weigh in and everyone bugger off at the end. Oh and while we were loading the cars up the sun came out and the wind dropped ::) ::) ::) Great !!!!
Everyone caught, there was no drynets. Lovely place shame about the weather again. Maybe we can fish one Sunday without the wind....[reason]Added Results[/reason]

I think you have resized the pictures a bit too much mate
Ideal size is 'Message Board' on photobucket which is 640 x 480

Vine Yard Fishery ( Bobbington )
well this was my 4th match with the Yale Nutter Society, and things are looking Better, after meeting up with simple to make the short journey to the fishery, we deicided to take a look at the pool which looked great we also bumped into the fishery owner who gave us all the latest info, upon receiving this info we decided to keep stum to the other members on our return to the carpark
at the draw bag i pull out peg 18 ( My Peg )
as you can see the pegs are very close to each other on my left i had Nige ,Bob,Tink and to my right i had simon ? and simpole
i was told by the owner to fish down the edges so i decided to only fish two line's with my top 3 kit, i fed one to my right with corn and wet micro pellet and i used the same out in front of me the swim took around an hour before it produced the first fish a small carp around the pound mark at this stage i decided to constantly feed little and often and take small carp one a chuck from both of my swims then towards the end the Lumps arrived and i took about 5 carp to 3lb wich boosted my weight up i also pulled out of a couple too
Also during the Match i had the customary Postman pat tune off Simpole and Tinkle but all in all it was a great Day apart from the rain
these are just a few pics of the weigh in
simple's bag
Tinks Bag 31lb
Rich Buxtons JNR winning Bag
Chief weigh Master in the Rain
This is begining to be the customary hand over on every match now with Tink & Bob NOT ANOTHER POUND
