I hope its just him, I'm getting some of these.
I tried them on in the shop and walked round for about 20 mins in there with them on and they were warm and very comfy.
I suppose been on the side of a muddy river is slightly different though

Don't fret - it was probably all in Wedgeys mind - bought on by 3hrs 40 mins of being gruellered once the inlet started flowing

Mine were ok. Feet stayed wam and waterproof all day.

No mate. I had thermal bottoms, Tracky bottoms and Skeetex thermal socks on too.
