What do you want it for. I know fishing :D :P

Carp, canals ?

I like Mavers but other will no doubt disagree.
I have had a Messiah for 3 years without problems, also had my 401 for about 2 moths now and its been spot on.

For £850 you could get the competition 271 or for £720 the 201.
I think Conna has a 271 and he is impressed with it now that he has used it. He was too scared to use it for about 2 months :D

I have the 201 well impressed Image like Simple said others will not agree but at least if you break it you don't have to wait 6 months for spares and they are cheap too Image and at the end of the day it's how you use it look after your kit and it will look after you thats my moto. Image

If I had £800 kicking about without a good use I would soon be the proud owner of a Garbolino G-Force power 14.5m ;)

Al
I'd go for a cheaper pole say £500-600 with a better spares package and invest the rest wisely in beer Image

I understand that Fert switched from the canals and is now a Commercial King and local expert at Tunnel Barn. He must be more than qualified to advise Al on elastics. Image Image Image
