Try using F4 (I think it is) which makes the bloke crouch and then as you are going to whack the bloke, finger off F4 and press F7 which makes him jump up giving added impetus and power

these buttons dont do anyhting neither do any of the other f number buttons tk, so comeon what are the real buttons

Your hitting him too early.
You gotta clonk him a bit later and make sure he hits the mole hills and bounce's a long way
