as you know i should of been running a match on the canal i had 15 to 20 anglers booked down on the thursday night 4 cancelled fair play so friday off to the tackle shop to get my bait as the squatts come in fresh on friday and i'm allowed to pick and choose what i want whitch is very nice of the shop i pick one or two of the lads bait up if they want squatts too anyway back at base 10pm the phone rings another eight anglers dropped out as there was a club match they wanted to fish >:(so i spent the next hour phoning the rest up to say the match was off
saturday morning i had a phone call from bob the only match worth going to would be lakeview so after he had made my mind up thats where we were going
he booked 4 tickets and i made my way back to the tackle shop pick up another load of bait :o
saturday night spent doing my kit taking canal gear out and putting carp gear in
sunday morning set off to lakeview weather not brilliant but still its a match arrived sat down with the lads only to find half the lads that had booked on the canal were there
i had my sausage sandwich and the next thing we were drawing so we when up to the draw after eating my sandwich only to find two pegs short in the bag yes you guessed me and one of the lads >:( >:(and bloke said he could'nt do anything about now BUT we could have a free days fishing on the venue and was told so
sh#t happens

NOW as we had no ticket we jjust sat there and had another cup of tea and watched them get set up to be fair its not my favourite venue and i was just talking to the lad who also did'nt get a ticket
when something caught my eye and it was a well named angler at lakeview
he rolled his sleeve up and bent down to the waters edge and started diging his margin peg out below the water i could not believe my eyes yet all the other anglers just did'nt notice and then which is a real eye opener he got what looked like a garden rack out and flattened the margin peg so he had a flat Plato in the margins
and yet still no other angler had noticed two of us witnessed this what do you lot think
i have phoned anglers who fish there regularly to watch out for this

if he is breaking the rules then he should be banned from the next match but if he isn't then fair play for improving his swim and it worked

i don't like the word banned or see them inforced thats why i have told one or two about this and it will be stopped its up to them now
someone said to me he might of dropped something in fair play but not 4 metres away
