i was at lakeview yesterday afternoon sorting out the pegging for the next summer league plus one or two lads were practicing for the super league saturday
as i walked around i noticed one or two using double laggy through there poles the funny thing was i had just read about it in the A.T with steve ringer do yo think it makes that much difference i could'nt really say one way or the other as both were catching and it seamed to take just as long to get the fish out i did ask one of them and he said it was 5 doubled up and it gave him better control of the fish just before netting it Image

He'd walk round the other side and drop a few squatts in rather than buy a new catty. Image Image

It was on the River Dee at Chester in 1913. W Gough (Nottingham) won with 1-14-8. Nottingham won the team event (22 teams of twelve) with 2-15-0.
