Interoffice Match Result. May 16th 2008

Well we went , we fished AND WE KICKED wobbly cheeks.

For most it was a hard day with fish hard to come by but although we didnt expect to do well from the weights we managed to pip Norwich by 2 points.

London 66 points
Norwich 64 points
Witham 41 points

Individually we also did well.Fortunately I managed to draw peg 6 one of my favourite pegs on the lake and at what proved to be the best end of the lake with Tony on peg 9 facing each other.

I dont know the full results yet but the top 4 were :-

Dave Collier 106lb 4 oz
Tony Roberts 101lb
???? 51lb
Richard Rowells 41lb

I will do a full report and all the weights as soon as I get them.

Well done chaps, Dave you must be getting fed up with all these 100lb weights, isn't it time you gave up fishing and went back to work

Nice one Dave. While you and me were catching steadily, and neck and neck all the way thru'

, at the other end of the lake they were having a real grueller :(. Poor old Colin got his 1st fish 4hrs 20min into the match!

Seems like we got the draw right for once

. Mind you its the 1st time I've ever drawn the'old' end of the lake - good innit

Well done Dave and Tony. Shame the budget didn't run to trophys for the team. At least we have another years bragging rights over the boys from Norwich.
