Fished on the Shropshire union canal at Little Onn
30 fished
With two teams cancelling and one team not turning up it was left to thirty anglers to try and extract fish from the canal, not helped by a flotilla of boats and lots of natural food hatching.
Wolverhampton veteran canal ace Paul Turner won the match with a caster caught bream of 3lb plus small fish.
Paul was pegged on the bushes just before Little Onn wood and weighed 4-3-9.
Shakespeare Superteam showed their intention with a win on the day with 22 points to relegate Team Eclipse into 2nd place on 20points.

West midlands summer league 2008
Used to love that section, but been many moons since I've fished it. Is it still relatively 'deep' down the track - think it was dredged back in the 80's
Anyway, did you fish Chockie Munster
If so, how'd you fare and where were you pegged
