No mate, i only had a ruffe, a gudgeon and an 8 ounce perch on caster.
I caught all the rest on pinkie over groundbait.

Did the wind play havoc with presentation or was it quite sheltered back of the Golf Course.

It wasn't too bad, had to use a thicker tipped float and put some line on the deck but it was not as bad as some sections.

Well done to Neil Jellis and Bernie Chappel who organised this event . It is always an enjoyable day out on this match meeting lads you havent seen for a while, sharing a few jokes ,beers etc......i believe around £1000 was raised for various charities, considering the weather etc this was a fantastic effort.Look forward to next year and hopefully better weather....did the lad on D19 bring any bait with him

Lee fished a great match joff he certainly gave em plenty lee uses V.D.E. grounbait !!!
Its always been bread, caster & hemp on there, but i believe an angler should always fish to his strengths and lee certainly did that ....by his own admission he said he aint very good on bread
Them pegs we were on have never framed before....as i have said before the Macclesfield canal is a very underated canal !!!
