The 2nd round of the Oxford Summer league was fished by 8 teams of 6 on the Thames at Medley, Channel and Folly sections. In sweltering conditions with lots of swimmers and boats the river produced fantastic sport with bream and roach showing in all sections.
1st John Taylor –Sensas A4 Black - 30lb 4oz, Trevor drew top end peg at Folly just below Osney lock and had bream and skimmers on pole and worm over chop worm feed.
2nd Trevor Chalk – Isis - 25lb 12oz. Trevor drew on the top end of Medley and had mainly roach on pole fished hemp and also had a bream and big perch on worm.
3rd Nigel Jones – Drennan Bordon – 25lb 1oz. Nigel drew bottom end peg at Folly and had bream on feeder fished worm.
4th Mark Harrington - Sensas A4 Black - 23lb 1oz
5th Liam Page-Smith – Sensas A4 Black - 22lb 7oz
