The 6th and final round of the Angling Trust Oxford winter league was fished by 6 teams of 8 on the Oxford canal from Kidlington to Oxford. With the milder weather and some colour in the water the canal fished well for skimmer bream and roach. Drennan Oxford completed there win of the league with a individual and team win on the day. Sensas A4 finished the league in 2nd place and proceed with Drennan Oxford to the final on the Fen drains and Decoy lakes in late February. Individual winner of the league was Carl Eland, Drennan Oxford, with 32 points out of 36.1st Mick Denton - Drennan Oxford - 15lb 9oz. Mick drew top end peg at Yarnton lane Kidlington and had mainly skimmer bream on bloodworm over joker feed on 11m pole.
2nd Dave Johnson - Sensas A4 - 12lb 1oz. Dave drew on St Edwards school and had 3 decent bream plus skimmers and perch on worm over chop worm.
3rd Alan Brown - Isis - 11lb 3oz. Alan drew bottom end peg at Yarnton lane and had mainly skimmers on punch bream and then worm.
4th Steve Harwood - 9lb 6oz
