Xmas Match

Xmas Match
Several of you have asked about a Christmas match. Its not my favourite time of year to go fishing but I will sort something if you want.
There are a couple of options that spring to mind.
1) Colemans Cottage on either Stepfield or Woods if I can get a booking this late. Possible food after in the lodge.
2) Hartleylands farm Nicks Lake. No on site food but has the advantage of better fishing and Im sure everyone will catch. Options to either lay on a midmatch hot pie/pasty with a drop of the chairmans Bushmills Irish Whiskey thrown in ( Other spirits are available ) , or try to see if the Peacock pub 2 miles away can lay on something after the match. I have checked the match calendar and all Saturdays are free in December.
3) A match at Claygate on Eva fishing for F1s which should feed in the winter. Food options are limited but could include a burger made personally by "Fingers" on site.
Let me have you suggestions ASAP and what are the preferred dates. I need some idea of numbers before booking it. Guests would be welcome.
Up for it
Keith

Gino
Simon (only 12th)

Jim

In hibernation too cold
Terry
Mick (work)
Clive
Dave (may come just to wind people up but not fish )

Re: Xmas Match
I can do the 5th and 12th of December. Prefer Colemans as I have not fished it this year.
Golfs a game for people who cannot catch fish
Re: Xmas Match
Can't do the 5th so prefer the 12th....any lake but preferred choice would be Nicks
Re: Xmas Match
HI Mr C I cant do either date due to work (bugger)
Re: Xmas Match
I cant do either date due to it being too cold
Re: Xmas Match
We need a minimum of 10 to make this worthwhile. If you haven't already posted above can you please confirm one way or the other if you want to go. ASAP.
